[Meme] A Jihad Against Servers the User Controls
Reference: Microsoft Azure-Only Bugs in "Linux" Can "Compromise the System."
Azure is not doing well ("hey hi" (AI) is the latest smokescreen) and Microsoft is frightened investors might find out about it and then ask some "tough" questions. Analysts say that the "hey hi" (AI) of Microsoft did not result in much adoption and they issue some cautionary words already, only weeks before Microsoft releases some fake "report" to shareholders (number-fudging and deceit).
It seems safe to predict this pyramid scheme will collapse; it's only a matter (or question) of when.
From a Software Freedom perspective, not only Azure is a problem. AWS is too. We need to strive for and work towards greater control by users over "their" servers. Self-hosting is possible for small-scale hosting. █
