[Meme] EPO Targets
"Targets" mean nothing if or when you measure the wrong thing. At the EPO, as was made evident by its own (internal) communications, the goal is to grant as many patents as possible, even illegal ones such as European software patents - i.e. patents which are both illegal and undesirable.
The EPO needs an overhaul and those who destroyed it need to be held legally accountable. They did - and are still doing - many illegal things. Then they threaten those who merely expose and report on these illegal things. Because the EU is fast becoming more like Russia. It is run by a bunch of Napoleons [1, 2], who very clearly schemed to undermine elections by bribing the voters (after their "election") using public money.
How long for or how much longer can EU officials conveniently ignore crimes at the EPO? They ignore it at their own peril because it perpetuates this perception of corruption (and cover-up thereof) at the EU. There is complicity which angers the public. Then people vote for more radical parties. That does not solve issues. It creates new (additional) issues. █
