Microsoft's Attack Dogs Have Failed. Now What?
As pointed out earlier today, Microsoft is "hiring stabbers and stranglers. It's a sociopathic cult."
It would be utterly foolish to assume that Microsoft has any intention of changing. It never changed and it's trying to silence critics instead of improving its behaviour.
Does it work? Not really. Sometimes it does. Sometimes it can become a mere nuisance to critics. Sometimes - like in our case - it backfires on Microsoft and it panics when belatedly held accountable [1, 2], even if that means travelling across the ocean to face justice here. That's what happens when aiming for low and cheap. At the end we expect to publish hundreds of articles under the banner "Microsofters' SLAPP Censorship" and there will be several other mini-series (as we don't write books; the topic may well be covered in over 1,000 parts). Then we'll start campaigning with MPs, regulators and NGOs. We'll work to ensure Microsoft can never do this again. Ever. To anybody. █
