Microsoft WARN Notices Proliferate in the United States
Over the past 4 days we've checked WARN notices in California about 10 times, just in case LinkedIn, Microsoft or some other Microsoft entity shows up.
Well, here they go, 1 hour ago by Queenie Wong:
Moments ago someone wrote about Microsoft layoffs: "It's over. Everyone who was let go has been notified. Now we just wait until the next one."
From what we've seen, this wave was more than 3% (a lot more) and the next wave/s will be even bigger (possible as imminent as weeks from now), based on insider leaks.
Earlier today I heard from insiders that the layoffs are very much real. There's anger because they tell staff the company does exceptionally well. Then they get sacked. Not because they lack skills or didn't work hard enough.
"As usual," an associate notes, "there is always the question of where they turn up and the problems that causes as they cosplay IT people."
In proprietary Microsoft formats in this page we see:
It's dated yesterday and does not (yet) include subsidiaries including LinkedIn, which has many layoffs [1, 2] as we pointed out earlier on.
More information will surface over time, refuting misleading spin and cover-up/"damage control" [1, 2]. █
