SLAPP Funding Transparency Urgently Needed in the UK and Elsewhere (in Practice, Not Just in Theory)

Writing about crime - including Microsoft crime - is not a crime. Writing about crime is a public service. We may soon be taking it up a notch, covering those matters even more frequently. The public deserves to know and may need to know just how bad things are at Microsoft - to the point of lawfare against people who just talk about those matters.
Two weeks ago Eduardo Reyes published this article about law firms that launder money for criminals or accept laundered crime money to do SLAPPs for war criminals. Guess who was at the event alluded to:

For the record, Brett Wilson LLP never ever provided any actual proof of funds or their source, even when clearly requested as such (and instructed by my lawyer at the time). It's one story we'll tell after the trial [1, 2] is over. Now isn't the best time to produce the proof of it, though the person who did that seems to be leaving the firm (many others left already, even recently). See, if you do many bad things, eventually you'll get caught and you will get lost in your own web of lies, deceit etc. I think it is safe to assume Brett Wilson LLP will get struck off or go bankrupt some time soon. It made its own bed. █
