On the Internet, Nobody Knows Microsoft and Windows Are Becoming Niche Players Until Data is Shown Correctly, Not Microsoft-Sponsored Articles in Microsoft Publishers
Microsoft controls a lot of publishers and thus it controls information
"Mind Control: To control mental output you have to control mental input. Take control of the channels by which developers receive information, then they can only think about the things you tell them. Thus, you control mindshare!"
-Microsoft, internal document [PDF]
Earlier today we wrote about Microsoft's lost dominance, not only in laptops and desktops. We're no longer in 1999.
We should probably not "forget to mention," an associate notes, "each time, that the market share is relevant because only when it was over 85% could Microsoft make money from monopoly rents. That was where 80% to 90% of their money used to come from. So without the monopoly rents, they are in a difficult spot financially and probably surviving only from government bailout to government bailout, in exchange for access to backdoors / bugdoors."
"Intel's monopoly rents are also gone," psydroid said, "and now no one wants their CPUs anymore".
Desktops and laptops era is ending for a lot of people. Contrary to what Bill Epsteingate claims, people still use and buy many smartphones [sic] - much to Microsoft's regret. █
