Had it not been for the mention of a country, the comments would bear more weight. In many companies*, those who suck up to management get ahead, even at the EPO. That tends to reward the least honest people, resulting in terrible leadership and sometimes even cocaine addicts. We'll say a lot about the EPO very soon - there are many IBM-EPO analogies. █

* In many countries also. It's not an "India" thing. Many countries call other countries "greedy" and "corrupt", but they are mostly projecting.
