Maintenance Later This Month
Next Tuesday in London the SRA will get grilled by our government. Our politicians will seek "response of the SRA to recent regulatory failures..."
The following week there's some work that can improve network circuitry. This morning our upstream providers said it would impact the transmissions "between our Slough and Dublin data centres as part of an ongoing network hardening programme."
Last year we had excellent uptime (about 99.99%, better than the previous year) and so far this year we've had almost zero downtime. Each time work is carried out in the datacentre, however, there's growing risk. █
