While GAFAM/Microsoft Disguise Financial Crisis as "Investment in AI" the Slop Giants Make Up a Narrative of Wilful Slowdown

All slop-pushing companies and GAFAM's slop ventures are losing a lot of money and 99% of them may disappear. They were just a bubble all along and by 2026 it has added up to a sum of trillions of dollars (yes, plural; trillions) in debt/losses. All they did was blatant plagiarism and destruction as a non-business model (not viable, but sponsored by gullible/sinister lenders), now they face many legal actions for it, and countries consider taking more severe action to protect robbed creators/artists. In some European countries, for instance, some of GAFAM's slop ventures are curtailed in the courts.
Now that the bubble is being deflated they try to blame "China!" for slop-critical (or DC-sceptical) views while insisting that they need greater restraint and regulations, even "slowdown". This way they give the false impression that the bubble's deflation is controlled by them, desired by them, and hence it's not a scam, it's just some pursuit of "morality" or "safety".
Don't fall for it.
There is no "hey hi arms race" and slop being leveraged by China or Iran or whatever for nefarious purposes isn't unprecedented. Online trollfarms are nothing new and they needn't rely on LLMs. A phony narrative has been crafted by slop pushers. They frame this as a "national security" issue in order to compel the governments to allow copyright infringement.
A BS artist is good at the art of BS when the artist's failures or weaknesses get twisted as moral or professional leadership. █
