Summary: No wonder Microsoft fires loads of workers this summer; after several decades the desktop/laptop share of Microsoft Windows falls below 50% in Nigeria (this month, which ends today); if one also counts mobile devices (Android-dominated), Windows is down to 7% in Nigeria; all the "AI" pipe dreams are also going down the drain (temporary and paid-for media hype)
