The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

I think that with a reasonable group of people it should be
unnecessary. Need for a vote means that either the issue is being
rushed, or we have childish maintainers ;-), in which case we are in
 a great deal of trouble.

Consensus building has lead, in the past, to more thoughtful,
and IMHO better, solutions, and very rarely would a deadlock break be
required (I think that our explosive growth in the recent past has
been detrimental to this process, but then, quality does fall when
 one expands).

I would hope that we would make an effort to return to our
roots and try to build consensus on issues, rather than ``punting''
 and _voting_ on the issues.

I also wosh the process of consensus building were less
acrimonious, but that is probably too much to ask for (and I have
been as guilty of violations as any).
