The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

my thrashing

This is in response to private mail from Brian White and public mail
from onr or more other posters on debian-private.
A few public and private messages have pointed out that I've been quite
"erratic" in my leadership this year. It's true. I've been prone to
"thrashing". The symptoms are:

1. Something goes wrong.
2. I make a decision.
3. People convince me to un-make the decision.

My various attempts to leave the project happen this way. I decide I'm fed
up and it's not healthy for me. I post my intention to leave. I get a few
dozen "don't leave, you are essential to the project" and "if you leave I'm
quitting too and there goes the project down the drain" messages. I decide not
to leave.

is I've really had more than enough. I definitely _don't_ need this
activity. I'd really like to put it into the hands of a competent
director. The problem is that there is for the most part no candidate.
Brian is not interested in the distribution being strictly free
software, which rules him out in my eyes. Dan doesn't seem ready or
willing. The leader-less organization proposed by Peter Tobias and
various others doesn't seem work-able.

This leaves me in a quandry. I really should go for my _own_ good, but
doing that would probably be quite bad for the project.

	Thanks

	Bruce
