Microsoft's Chief Marketing Officer is Leaving (Must Be Getting Too Hard to Keep Track of All the Lies)
When things get really bad at Microsoft you start hearing of a "reorg" (resignations announced in bulk to lessen the panic); we have shared many examples of that, especially over a decade ago. Now it's happening again and they try to sprinkle some more "AI" on this crisis:
This is how Microsofters are spinning it: "Microsoft reorgs its Xbox and marketing teams to prepare for an AI and gaming future"
AI... future... never mind if XBox is dying.
The semi-official/original from Microsoft (this site is funded by Microsoft):
It should be noted that MSN (Microsoft) keeps syndicating this site like it's an official and independent news source, without ever disclosing that Microsoft itself funds it.
Bias, PR and marketing aside (that's what GeekWire does for Microsoft), the crisis goes way beyond marketing. They cannot quite embellish the situation by bribing every single news site that's left online. It's expensive and harmful when they get caught (and called out on it). Sometimes the pervert does the bribery for them, disguising it as charitable donations.
Sure, Microsoft is doing so well that its CMO is leaving. Far too young to be retiring. █
