This EPO Presentation Sheds Light on How EPO Staff Gets Treated for Not "Producing" Loads of Phony European Patents (Monopolies, Usually for Non-European Companies)
The Local Staff Committee Munich (LSCMN) at the EPO had an online meeting about a week ago and it published this report along with a presentation about "unattainable targets and appraisal reports" at the Office.
Let's examine the slides and comment according to our understanding of the situation, one slide at a time.


So the "targets" go higher while less workers are employed. It's infeasible to keep up or maintain standards/quality.

Since when have they not told the truth?

Just a dismissal tool?

They make up some arbitrary, unattainable goals to shame everyone into overworking or lowering standards.

That's no longer the case. A person who just grants or rejects everything hastily is considered "productive".

The professionally incompetent parties are the managers. They break the rules.

They make it a pseudo-science; no wonder, as today's EPO management is not of a science-oriented background. It's just a cult. It's all nepotism.

They demoralise the staff. This leads to resignations without severance payments.
