'FSFE': Underage Labour, GAFAM Fronting, and Identity Theft to Undermine the FSF's Current Fundraiser
LAST NIGHT my wife notified me (shortly after I had published "About 10 New Free Software Foundation (FSF) Members Per Day") that the FAKE "FSF" (see "Leak: FSF/FSFE Trademark Dispute (FSF Demanding That FSFE Should Change the Organisation's Name)") was looking to raise funds at the same time as the FSF. This was not limited to their front page or generally their Web site, which looks like this right now:
Charity? Really?
Money corrupts. Microsoft money corrupts absolutely.
It turned out that my wife was referring to "Interview with last year's YH4F winner, Davide Rorato" - a showcase of underage labour wherein few adult males take all the money and those who do all the coding get merely a mention in the site. That page is asking to raise money for the fake 'FSF'. Mind the timing. Also see "The Free Software Foundation (FSF) is Becoming More European Than the Google- and Microsoft-Funded 'FSFE' (Fake 'FSF', a Case of Identity Theft)".
Meanwhile there's also this statement from the fake 'FSF'. It's only about Apple. Noticed how the fake 'FSF' issues no critical statements on Google anything. Nothing about Microsoft antitrust (e.g. "Teams") in the EU either?
The fake 'FSF' is very fake. It's like "controlled opposition" at this point.
Some hours ago I noticed that the Linux Foundation-connected LWN* referred to the fake 'FSF' as the [Microsoft-funded] "FSF Europe" (which is not FSF at all, not even "FSFE"), saying that it "condemns Apple's DMA noncompliance".
Where are the analogous fake 'FSF' statements on Google and Microsoft? Why does the fake 'FSF' keep silent about its sponsors? The fake 'FSF' knows how to raise money, not how to do advocacy.
Quoting LWN: "The Free Software Foundation [sic] Europe [sic] has submitted a joint position to the European Commission (EC), claiming that Apple has failed to comply with the EU's Digital Markets Act (DMA)."
When did the fake 'FSF' last issue any statement on Microsoft? Other than thanking Microsoft for money... █

* The top manager of LWN also works for the "Linux" Foundation, where Microsoft makes decisions. As it turns out, Microsoft employees also vote in Debian now.
