Good News From Manchester and London, Plus High Productivity in Techrights
THIS past Monday (yesterday) we published 29 pages/articles and 3 videos. It's not an all-time high, but it is close. We're generally very productive and still jubilant over the local team's season achievement (following Sunday's victory on a very sunny day at home). Yes, that's Manchester City.
Here in Techrights we strive not to merely relay some news, such as distro releases. That's what Tux Machines is for. This site is different.
Techrights explores mostly suppressed or unreported issues, not only with analysis or commentary where actual evidence (such as leaks) became available. We want to put in the public domain material that can improve people's understanding of the world, including the patent and Free software spheres. Of course those whom we expose try to prevent us from doing so. It's sometimes easier to attack and try to demoralise the messenger (than to actually try to refute the message).
Later today, probably in the evening, we shall release a video ("Microsoft's Attack on Education") and also, seeing that the UK sort of changed its stance on Julian Assange (this outcome surprised us for the better!) we're in high spirits, extremely happy and having a good time. Thankfully we don't live in a society or country like Russia. Press protections exist here, and not only for those who back the dictators.
Let's hope Manchester City can win another cup, the FA Cup, next week in London. We look forward to this "away derby". █
