In Republic of (South) Korea, as of This Month, Android Climbs to Record High of 48%

THE South Koreans don't seem to fancy Microsoft or Windows or Microsoft's lousy browsers. They don't fancy MSIE/Edge despite the ActiveX controls (notorious in that one nation) and Firefox has just fallen below 0.5% market share. This past month Edge fell sharply, Samsung Internet grew, but interestingly enough, as shown below, one can see an Android all-time high at 48%.
It is important to understand the notoriety of the ActiveX infection there. Who's responsible for this mess? This prevented many Koreans from adopting GNU/Linux, unless they made some Windows VM for banking or essential government sites.
Asia is quickly being painted "Android" (orange below). There's a distinct south/north split. █
