Tunisia is Android, Windows is Waning There
Tunisia is a small country, but it has a lot of impact on Europe.
In fact, yesterday I met a friend who had come back from Tunisia about a week ago (it was an escape from the bad weather) and said it was nice and worth vacationing in. Tunisia is one of Africa's "better off" economies, which causes Tunisia some problems with immigration. However, we're not a political site, so let's focus on the "tech" side of things.
Last year Windows was measured below 20% in Tunisia (it happened again this past summer) and Android hovers around 60%.
Also revisit "GNU/Linux Reaches All-Time High in Tunisia" and consider the trends which propel Android to the top, bearing market share about 10 times higher than that of iOS (Apple). At one point last year "Desktop" was measured at only 23% there. █
