How Will António Campinos Respond to the EPO's 'Cocainegate'?
Over the next few weeks we shall subject the top-level management of the EPO to more and more much-deserved scrutiny. The people who António Campinos brought to the EPO from Alicante brought cocaine with them. That emboldens all those people who over the years alleged that Campinos was a cocaine user (but did not have substantial enough evidence).
Seeing that many people in the EPO now read about this (and talk about it), we've decided to be in no particular hurry to finish the series. In Part I and Part II we've not yet shared all the hard evidence. We give the EPO a chance to respond, but so far nothing, not even a self-nuking SLAPP. It's a like like the Marcos family, where they hope that passage of time or attention-shifting tactics will make the scandal "age" out of relevance and the cocaine users will just carry on governing the nation.
That's the same thing we saw and still see when the press deals with enablers and partners of Jeffrey Epstein. The media helps normalise this status quo wherein underage sex is acceptable for rich old perverts; the "rage cycle" will just "blow over". Then it's "old news". █
