Wayland Rejection Is Not Racist
This past week I discussed with associates (text, voice etc.) an issue I already saw with - and had experienced in - systemd about a decade ago and then again with Rust in the past half a decade or less. There is an effort to stigmatise (or stereotype) people who reject some "new" thing or, in other words, want to stay with the stuff that already works... as "bigots".
Imagine how society would react if people who chose to make transactions with cash... were painted as racists. (There is also ageism)
How would the media respond to accusations that "only drug users vote for Democrats"?
These dirty political methods don't belong in Free software. We need to collectively reject that. █
