They Hate Him Because He's Effective
Four days ago: Richard Stallman Was Right About "Hey Hi"
Richard Stallman's personal site speaks about politics, as usual. That tends to be the real reason intolerant zealots try to crucify him, based upon lies about his positions on various issues. Dr. Stallman is the sort of person ever-so-willing to pay the price for his freedom of speech. He currently complains about intimidation of voters at polls and we're running a series which talks about how voters are besieged by LLM slop and back doors in voting machines.
As long as you 1) talk about politics and 2) many people read what you say about politics... there will be efforts to deplatform, cancel, slander the messenger.
Effective voices invite more aggressive censorship attempts.
We still have some "Richard Stallman" stories 'in the bag'; we keep these available for the next wave of lynch mobs against him. We think it is inevitable, only a question of time. █
