Great Reset at IBM, the Company That Pulps Red Hat
An hour ago: (IBM squeezes out what it wants, then discards or PIPs the rest)
On IBM, 2 hours ago: "Been gone just over 2 years. Could not be happier. It is truly a toxic place to work. If you are unhappy, leave. You'll be glad you did."
There's this new report from this evening entitled "Big Tech to Offshore More Jobs to India in 2026 — US Layoffs Push Workers to Brink (there are a few reports similar to it, but those might be LLM slop).
In 2026 many workers are RTO'ed, PIP'ed, and at Red Hat many have effectively 'left the company' and now start afresh as "IBM" staff. At IBM, "RAs" (layoffs) are a forever thing. People are stressed; they pray they'll survive the next wave of "RAs". It's hard to concentrate or feel motivated under such conditions.
IBM has nothing left except lies it tells the regime, Wall Street, and Jim Cramer the financial genius from TV (he doesn't even know the name of IBM's CEO! He's paid to "pump the stock"). █
