Microsoft Uses April Fools to 'Joke' About Inserting "Age Verification" (Surveillance) Into Linux
2 months ago: Amutable’s Management and Founders Are 100% Microsoft!

A couple of weeks ago IBM staff added "birthDate" to userdb in systemd.
Due to it being April 1st one might naturally assume this is a joke.

Well, as a bit of history, this man comes from Microsoft. Brauner is managing a Microsoft proxy that he created along with Lennart et al (3 people from Microsoft; we saw the Microsoft proxies before, e.g. Xamarin, they're just acting as satellites).
Regarding "jokes", Lennart has long used jokes in an attempt to discredit legitimate criticisms of him and his software. There are many examples of that.
MinceR says the "lkml [message/page] one is April Fools or at least they're trying to pass it off as April Fools [however] the [GitHub] one was archived on the 8th and yesterday, so that probably isn't..." █
