At Clacton by-election Hustings Event Daniel Pocock Says "Social [Control] Media Has Contributed to Some of the Anti Social Behaviour."

Social [control] media is a weapon. To its masters (owners). It is used against its users, who are not customers, they're just people to use, to exploit, to manipulate en masse.

Mexico's head of state, Sheinbaum, recently invited the author of ‘The Anxious Generation’ (a popular book) to explain social control media’s impacts on kids. As noted last night in Daily Links, she then warned of the "dangers of social control media on her social [control] media platforms". "You'd figure that a politician of that status would have their own official channels to use instead," an associate of ours noted. Remember when governments spoke in their official sites, where they carefully and meticulously prepared, fact-checked, double-checked, and then put up statements? Before they outsourced to TikTok and Facebook and who knows what next... and before a President just posted horrible things from his toilet bowl at 4AM, only to justify crimes against humanity?

Daniel Pocock has meanwhile been quoted in British media [1, 2]. This morning we see him on the ballot, a "metre-long ballot paper":

Daniel Pocock (Independent)

Some sites quote hie reply to: "How would you deal with the growing anti social behaviour in Clacton?"

His response:

Daniel Pocock said: "I believe social media has contributed to some of the anti social behaviour.

"The solution is a combination of carrot and stick. The stick is to have the police resources, appropriate punishments for people of various ages. But on the other hand, they need to have role models, jobs.

"We need to give people a reward if they are doing the right thing."

No doubt many problems in society are caused or at least amplified/accentuated by this horrible phenomenon, which Andy at the Cybershow explains brilliantly. Quit being a drone in "social" "media" and download an RSS reader. As Andy put it 3 days ago, they're "[w]orking on improving RSS feeds after a reader reported a bug that GUIDs are random which makes all articles appear new to clients. These should now stay fixed after the first release. Also making some improvements to remove redundant sub-index pages from the feed. Thank you to S."

To us, RSS feeds are the most important thing.
