Microsoft “Declined to Elaborate on the Roles Which Had Been Eliminated” Means Microsoft Left Leeway for Spin and Lies (But We Know Azure Has More Layoffs)

It was also reported (albeit it's harder to find now) that they were shutting down datacenters because Azure failed to meet targets (they don't reveal concrete numbers, only proportions, as that helps fool shareholders and inflate value based on perceived growth)
Summary: Microsoft is laying off many people, but it is super-secretive about the whole thing (and refuses to talk about it even after the media does); Microsoft staff I spoke to today is totally unaware of these layoffs (that's how secretive this is)
