Summary: Following yesterday's interlude, today we look at more recent facilitators of EPO abuses

As the old guard of Baltic representatives gradually departed during the second decade of the new millennium, Benoît Battistelli was careful to cultivate good relations with their successors from the younger post-Soviet generation.

Unfortunately for the Baltic States, in some cases the change of guard at the national patent offices hasn't always gone quite as smoothly as one might have hoped for.

In the upcoming parts we will look at each of the Baltic States in turn to see how its patent office has fared following the departure of the old guard.
