Bonum Certa Men Certa

Changing the Arrangement While News is a Bit Slow(er)

Summary: I've made it easier for myself to keep abreast of things like IRC channels and networks (incidentally, a day ago Freenode reopened to anonymous logins) and I've improved monitoring of the Web sites, Gemini capsule etc. (this video is unplanned and improvised)

TODAY we've hardly published anything, but that does not mean we weren't busy (in Git and other things, such as arguing over the telephone). We'll come back to to the usual routines and get back to normal by the end of this week for sure.

Raucous laughter: Black FridayWe don't have a holiday here, except the consumerism festival being imitated ("Black Friday") and polluting the World Wide Web a great deal. It has become painful to watch some so-called 'Linux' so-called 'news' sites pushing Windows in "Sponsored Posts" (we won't name the culprits). The Web has become frustratingly bad.

So today I decided to show some of the tasks that were shuffled around or moved between screens and computers. There's still 5 of them in total connected over Barrier and Synergy and there's a Palm PDA that occasionally comes in handy. They're all reasonably cheap, some are very old, but they help get work done on a low budget. Remember that Friday is Buy Nothing Day.
