      • The one thing you can always count on

So a couple others have known for weeks about performing with us today.

Yesterday I learned the sound guy they always use - whom I was counting on to alleviate our equipment burden - hadn't been told.

Then I learned the guy that usually speaks for them thought we were at a venue other than the one we'd already told him about.

Then I the percussionist of their team hadn't yet weighed in because he's "not very committal these days".

I had a few free moments to revisit Bubble, thinking I wanted to comment in a specific thread, but soon noticed my Bubble id no longer seemed to be able to do much in Bubble, then noticed the domain seemed to have changed (prepending "bbs." to what it was before). So I created a new certificate for that, updated config.toml to point to it, navigated to bbs.geminispace.org in amfora, went the "Add alternative certificate" path, specified 'textmonger', followed this redirect:

          gemini://bbs.geminispace.org/add-cert/textmonger

and was asked for a password.

        • Zond updates: gettext and tinylog support
This capsule is served as static files which are generated using my capsule generator, zond.

A while back I started work on an i18n capable branch of the project at the request of Codeberg user Steko, who had manually translated the program into Italian. The branch was basically ready a long time ago, but I never quite got around to merging it. The merge is now done, and adding new translations is as straightforward as in most FreeSoftware projects using the Gettext framework. The Italian translation is the only one which exists for the time being, but feel free to contact me if you have any interest in helping to translate Zond into other languages (indeed, I have several other projects which would benefit from translation help as well).
