Attempts to Sink the Free Software Movement (Under the Guise of Saving It)
We can see who's being drowned
THIS week (so far) we've published over 50 pages (in a little more than 2 days) and we have an upcoming series about the campaign to 'cancel' not only Richard Stallman but anyone who remotely supports his viewpoints on technology. There's meanwhile this new video about our article exploring the topic. One may guess we got the ball rolling, but we've not yet started the series about it. We've got plenty of material about it, but we were advised to wait about a week and observe any further developments in this space.
Exactly a week has passed since Stallman's talk in French got delayed and there's still no evidence of it happening any time soon. It's no longer holiday in France and the front page of Stallman's Web site looks like this:
No talks. A week ago it still listed a talk that never happened. We're told the delay was due to holidays, but how long can this delay be?
Collective action by the community is needed. They try to turn Software Freedom into some "fringe" or "niche" thing that's considered extremist or appalling. █
