Green led
I don't really know how to go about this I've always seen this fridge, but I've stopped watching it. I used to. Looking at the slow blink on this green light and the the shadows it casts used to be a full-time occupation. I don't know why, but I love it. It just makes me content. Not satisfied, no joy. I can't really qualify it.
Just watching things be. Still or alive, anything, in it's infinite details.
White walls are not just white.

Arrived: BESM Retro Second Edition RPG plus BESM 4E Expansions
I have a lot of fond memories of running BESM 2nd Edition back in the day, and even more of building things for it. While BESM 4th Edition is probably better balanced and more flexible, BESM 2E has a certain charm of its own; for one thing, it's simpler. I was pleased to see Dyskami republishing BESM 2E. I was also glad to see additional details on the world Ikaris from BESM Multiverse, the Denizens of the Multiverse cards (cards with various BESM stats for various entities, collected from many of the BESM 4E books), the new BESM 4E Character Folio, and the second Ikarion novel.

Itanium Day '24
It's that time again! Today is the twenty-third anniversary of Intel Merced hitting general availability. It didn't set the world on fire, but it gave us some interesting systems and paved the way for the stronger McKinley processor a year later.
