Three Years After Its Release Vista 11 Accounts for Only 2% of the Market in Gabon
And Vista 11 is moving down, not up
A couple of months ago we wrote about Microsoft's Windows in Gabon being scarcely used and it has not recovered since. Android commands about two thirds of "the market" there. Seeing that Vista 11 took a major tumble around the world this summer, plus media reports of Microsoft trying to force-feed Vista 10 users an "upgrade" to it, I decided to check this page:
Looking at the underlying data (ODF), Vista 11 is down to 16.93% this month. In June it was at 21%. 16.9% of 14% (Windows) is 2.36%, so according to this data from statCounter only about 2% of Web requests in Gabon can be traced back to Vista 11.
Very impressive, Microsoft! █
