Resting Time
TOMORROW will be a sort of a "rest day", as in short recess, even though we don't expect a whole day off because the news keeps moving and we need to keep abreast or ahead of it. We have some important stories planned for the weekend and some scheduled for next week.
The good news is that in recent days the site got about 50% more traffic than usual. The traffic levels do not depend on (or correspond to) how much we publish but the quality and relevance of published material (exclusivity helps too). To break stories we typically need leakers/whistleblowers*.
Anyway, we deserve a short break - even if only for tomorrow - and we still need to decide what to do; maybe coffee+cathedral, depending on the local weather and other factors (indoor sports aren't cheap; movies and concerts 'suck' these days; checking for what's available is rather disappointing). But either way, we'll be busier this coming weekend and there's no special plan for next week, so we can hopefully stay indoors and publish a lot. █

* Patents are an area much of the media stays away from; on the upside, many in that domain (insiders, not the profiteers though) respect Techrights and follow it closely for the leaks. The scientists (examiners for the most part) value truth and facts more than money. And this is why Techrights receives so many tips, scoops, leaks etc. That also makes it a "target" (for smears, threats etc.) and it must adapt to "scorn".
