Urgent Need for SLAPP Litigation Transparency

Patent Litigation Transparency

As mentioned earlier, the grand goal is truth and transparency. Without transparency, there can often be no truth. There's spin and deceit, based on secrecy.

Patent trolling in the US was partly curbed by compelling trolls to disclose who or what company funded them. Here in the UK we don't have the same, so there are repeated denials to disclose who funds the attacks on us. This isn't about law, it's about "reputation management".

Microsofters really want to shut us up and they've targeted me personally for over 20 years (the first such attempt was when I was a postgraduate student and they tried to disconnect me from the Internet by LARPing).

20+ years later... same goal.

Having failed at first, there was an effort to do the same thing again; it's about depriving defence funds; it's like winning a running race by stealing your best opponents' running clothes from the locker room before the race.

These people are cheaters. They don't care about fair play. No sportsmanship. It's like a cult.

In both cases, it is exact same lawyer and barrister (people from another continent with many overlaps, both of them speaking about one another in public before all this), begging me repeatedly - directly via E-mail - to take down pages without pointing out errors. The people who target us are working through the same lawyer almost simultaneously (also filing complaints against webhosts only hours apart) - a sign of clear coordination. We'll cover all this in the future.

It's also clear that the Microsofters who did this paid more money to the "law" firm than it has in its bank account, based on its own financial reports. Not only is this firm poor; it is demonstrably shrinking:

BRETT WILSON LLP shrinking

There's not much money in the bank and two people fewer than in the previous year, according to their own report (publicly available to all).

It says "the financial statements have been prepared on an ongoing concern basis".

To be very honest, judging by what I know after 12 years inside Sirius, and based on their reports, "14" might include part-timers, contractors etc. so in reality the number of "real staff" might be half or even less. A skeleton crew is oftentimes used to give false tallies; people who applied for a job at Sirius told me they had found the same thing, affirming what I claimed (about "associates" being wrongly counted like staff, grossly inflating the real headcount). That's just something one learns along the way.

So despite a decrease in headcount the law firm's bank balance shrank to less than 100,000 (and lots of debt).

We need to understand how reckless Microsofters from another continent have the audacity to SLAPP those whom they had long harassed [1, 2] before they did SLAPPs; and after repeatedly strangling women (in the case of one person). This is not an 'ordinary' case; several prominent NGOs and law firms recognise this too and we've reported this to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

Eager readers will need to be patient as there are things we cannot talk about just yet.
