Microsoft Down From 100% to 10% in Myanmar/Burma
We have tremendous sympathy for victims of the recent earthquake. These are poor people with vulnerable housing. To them, buying some "hey hi PC" with Vista 11 isn't a priority. Some of them do not have toilets and clean water can be scarce.
Earlier this year and last year [1, 2] we wrote about Microsoft's problems in Myanmar/Burma. Microsoft used to be measured at a "solid" 99% or 100% in there until 2011 and now it's down to almost 10% (mobile usage grew):
The relative share of Windows fell by more than 50% since Vista 11 was released. Considering the Vista version breakdown, only about 4% of Web requests in Myanmar/Burma come from Vista 11, soon to be the only "supported" version of Windows. █
