Microsoft's Share in Guatemala Fell From 97% to 14%
Last year we said that, based on statCounter, Windows had fallen to just 23% in Guatemala. Well, this summer it's down to 14%.
Unlike Denmark, for example, Guatemala isn't a major source of income to Microsoft. However, as Android (Linux) gains it'll be harder for Microsoft to find any "leverage" over users, anywhere. Eventually Microsoft will get stuck in a loop of layoffs, layoffs, and more layoffs. That's where it is already. With only half the year gone Microsoft has already had 8 or 9 waves of layoffs in 2025. There's one more coming in July. █
