Our Gemini Editions Now Contain 100,000+ GemText Pages
Crossposted from Tux Machines
Our Gemini Edition and the sister site's Gemini Edition are going to turn 5 this winter (gemini.tuxmachines.org is over a year younger than gemini.techrights.org) and by all indications Gemini Protocol continues to expand in terms of the number of users, not the specs, which are meant to stay simple and mostly static.
According to Lupa, this capsule is one of the biggest out there. As per the latest count, it now has over 35,000 pages:
find /home/gemini/tuxmachines.org/* | grep gmi | wc -l 35552
gemini.techrights.org has 141,957 objects in it (72,154 are Gemini or GemText pages) and growing rapidly each day. So both combined, we're looking at over 100,000 GemText pages.
Our Gemini Editions aren't small, even if Gemini Protocol is still the 'underdog'. █
