USA Not a Place for Free Speech

Trump to file $15 billion defamation and libel lawsuit against New York Times

All the lawsuits ever filed against me (in my entire lifetime) came from a different continent, America. They were filed by really vile people [1, 2, 3] because I merely criticised what they had done.

Not too long after the White House Cheeto filed a massive lawsuit against News Corp. (WSJ) for merely mentioning his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein he wants to do the same to the New York Times (it remains to be seen what for).

Americans fancy talking about "free speech", "First Amendment" and all that other stuff. At the same time Americans are notoriously litigious - a topic we covered before [1, 2] - both inwards and outwards.

I myself am not easily conned. I rid myself of this notion that the US stands for anything free or freedom or "First Amendment". Those are just words people utter until their homes get raided in what seems like violent revenge for their speech.

On another note, the US is full of slop companies (not just GAFAM) that attack the press, destroy online media, and call plagiarism "intelligence" or "fair use". The Serial Slopper (SS) Brian Fagioli, for instance, is still creating fake articles with fake images about "Linux". His latest:

Slop or fake: SparkyLinux 2025.09 ‘Tiamat’ ISO images now available

Slop or fake: Fedora Linux 43 Beta released

The SS is just plagiarising, as usual. Speaking of which, there's also too much LLM slop in linuxconfig.org (more so lately). They seriously think they can fool their readers for longer than a few weeks or months??? Once people realise their sites became slopfarms nobody will bother visiting anymore. Maybe they reckon they can play the "SEO game", but search engines are themselves becoming slop engines, so even SEO is wasted effort.

Anyway, media online and free speech online are under attack. In America, as in the US, the attacks seem more enhanced or advanced these days.
