Slop Still Becoming Rare as Another Week Ends

Judging by what we see (or can find) about "Linux", 2026 is starting well. We are finding a lot of real news out there (about "Linux" at least), not so much slop anymore. It was definitely a lot worse 12 months ago.

Generally speaking, calm and quiet is desirable, it's what we hope for (an absence of slop, a lack of need to keep abreast of it, ultimately).

One exception we found in IRC is pseudonym MaK Ulac with this mindless slop:

Google News has only fed this (one slopfarm in two days):

This slopfarm is called "Linux" something, but it is drivel made by LLMs. Maybe Google will delist it some time soon. █
