Chatbots Didn't Do Any Good for Microsoft
As statCounter sees it, Bing (Microsoft) is down to its lowest point for over a year and a half and in some regions such as Africa Bing has fallen to its lowest point in 3 years (despite all the chatbot hype):

That's where GNU/Linux at 4% on desktops/laptops, based on statCounter's assessment.
But the main point is, all that "Bing Chat" and other rebranding/marketing efforts basically yielded nothing. In "services", Microsoft remains a distant (at the back) horse and chatbots' usage is flailing, so don't expect any breakthroughs. As for Google "overviews", they're just a form of plagiarism, Google scanning and copying pages instead of linking to these. Google "AI" = search + copypasta. █
