Carmen-Lisandrette Maris (Mission:Libre) Explains to Adolescents and Young Adults How Free Software Improves Privacy
Carmen's educational efforts were mentioned here many times before and even as recently as ~3 months ago. She runs a project called Mission:Libre and it strives to explain to people why Free software is better. Although Mission:Libre is based "down under", its message is articulated in the English language and is universally applicable.
Mission:Libre is now "[l]ooking for someone who can draw to help me make a pamphlet". To quote Carmen: "A while back I published an article for Mission:Libre ("Who's spying on you?") that's become the most popular thing I've ever written, even among adults. "Who's spying on you?" explains mass surveillance and online tracking and how free software can help at a 13 year old's reading level. You can see it here: https://missionlibre.org/?q=whos-spying-on-you It's not really useful as is for Mission:Libre any more. Instead I want to make it into a pamphlet for adults that I'll throw up on the libreplanet wiki or something so people can print it out and share it. It would benefit from a little art to make it look polished and not like the work of a conspiracy theorist. I can't draw at all. If you can, are you able to help?"
The page in question refers to the 9/11 attacks - a subject that got associated with even more cranks than the assassination of JFK.

To her credit, Carmen did not resort to using any slop images. The page is written in simple and easy-to-comprehend terms. Maybe somebody wants to help her. It seems to be progressing a lot lately and it's still relatively young. At first there was barely even a Web site.
Based on what we've seen and read, Mission:Libre has a solid grasp of Software Freedom. █
