The IBM layoffs did not stop. We explained this point yesterday. IBM has become more 'shrewd' about hiding what happens - both internally and externally.
Moreover, there is a workforce transition going on, with salaries going down, not up. Because IBM saves pennies to give vast bonuses to people who cook the books, spoil the broth, spoil the brand. IBM Common Stock is almost below $250, but it really ought to be below $100.
