IBM Has Turned Red Hat and Fedora Into Slop
Published hours ago: (the software is becoming slopware and they boast about it)

It's about money, not quality. IBM also culled many packaging (in Fedora) efforts and "reassigned" staff away from Fedora (some openly complained about it - a risky act of courage). IBM is clearly gutting Fedora.
From the official site:

Yesterday and last week we've given many examples of IBM staff turning Fedora into slopware at many levels. It's concerning that they openly boast about it and we have repeatedly expressed concerns about it, as did Fedora users we knew (they left Fedora over it; they no longer use it).
This is IBM policy.
Hours ago LWN removed the paywall from this article that affirms a longstanding suspicion. IBM is defunding Fedora. It is controlled almost only by IBM staff; some cannot even code or read code.
If IBM believes that slop can manage Fedora and maintain it, then it doesn't understand that Fedora users will all flee and then there will be no incentive to build Fedora anymore.
