Techrights Will Always Protect Sources
Our #1 priority is sources, #2 is the availability of their stories, #3 is our physical safety. We'll do anything to protect vulnerable people (usually women), Computer Science (besieged by GAFAM) and computer security (undermined by proponents of back doors, i.e. exactly the opposite).
Today we released Part 35 of one of our European Patent Office (EPO) series. There are two ongoing EPO series at the moment.
The latest part concerns corruption in the EU and it is a topic that has earned us valued contacts in European media, international law firms, and political circles.
As usual, we want to emphasise that we are not an anti-EU site and we have no such agenda. Most of our team is pro-EU, not pro-EPO (primarily due to software patents, an issue which predates Battistelli's "Baltic Crusade").

My wife and I put ourselves "on the line" to protect people, including women subjected to crimes committed by men. This is how strongly we feel about freedom of the media in our country - a trait shared and appreciated also by the politicians we vote for today.
