Today Ed the bird finally found the courage to eat directly on the doorknob, not on the floor, and he's finding a way to balance himself on the hanging basket. A new fence was installed today (the next-door neighbours replaced theirs this morning); we simply enjoy their own spendings and this will hopefully make life a bit easier. It already does. They say "Good fences make good neighbors"...

Now that Omarchy and other 'MAGA distros' (or 'MAGA voices') cross swords with various other projects and people we thought there's an analogy worth making. If you don't get along with these people, e.g. different political opinions, different taste in software etc., nobody forces you to participate or talk to them. Yes, yes... in social control media everyone sort of shares "the same space". So avoid social control media, it is part of the problem, it's not meant and wasn't designed to build bridges.
We've always found ways to coexist with people who detest animals and who smoke drugs; we keep a distance and nobody forces us to talk to one another.
It's a problem when people who detest animals and who smoke drugs cannot tolerate your existence. They're antisocial and they need to be avoided, both online and offline.
On the Net, keeping some sort of boundaries used to be a lot simpler. Erasure of such boundaries was deliberate and some very powerful companies/people stand to gain when we constantly fight one another "at the bottom" instead of uniting towards common goals and/or against oppressors.
People who work on Free software and constantly fight other folks who work on Free software (not for GAFAM or slop plagiarism) won't get much done. They might collect "likes" in some social control media "platform" or "network", but at the end of the day that counts for virtually nothing. So mind your own business and move on. █
