  Looking at the deal itself, Jennings opines, "I think Cisco fell out of love with Microsoft a while back. Something to do with VoIP support in Exchange and how Cisco thought it was Microsoft's partner but it turned out that Microsoft was competing with them. Nothing familiar there at all...."

  In a way "Intel acquires Linux distro developer" is good for the Linux community, it means that a big company is looking at Linux as an opportunity to support Linux, as a consumer OS. Which is very good news. Also it's a sign that big companies are looking to help Linux. Intel contributes 4.1% of total contributions.
