Maybe they can invalidate this just as they drove away
this Microsoft OOXML patent a few days ago. It was not invalidated but withdrawn
according to a press release. It remains for the "embedded" loophole (masking software as hardware) to be removed or explicitly addressed by the patenting guidelines.
