THERE is a flood of 'new' Novell videos (over 40 of them in two or three days) from some account called NDMSolutions, but apart from those old videos (re-uploaded) there is radio silence from Novell. The only thing on their lips right now is the release of a new version of OpenSUSE. Some of them are insulting yours truly and trying to incite journalists against Techrights (there are many examples, none will be linked here though for obvious reasons). They try to silence us, as usual. Some of them retaliate against people who cite us. We noticed this funny new bit in Weekly News:
The rights for the compilation itself are copyright by Sascha Manns.
The Unknown Horizons development team has announced the release of Unknown Horizons 2011.3. Since I have full maintainership on this project and I don’t depend on no one to make this release, openSUSE is the first one to provide Unknown Horizons 2011.3. Debian should be the second next monday.

Yes, the reasons are obvious - you run from any criticism. You cannot handle it because you know you have no basis for most of your claims. You make things up and spew insults and accusations you cannot support.
FUD: No, they are not. They are disagreeing with you. They are not doing a thing to stop people from reading your site. Nothing.

Right, Novell has had radio silence ever since the Attachmate acquisition completed.

Plus, if you look a the timeframe from November or so of last year until April of this year, not much could be said during that time because of the Attachmate acquisition. This is a fact. SEC rules.
Beyond that, I've been following Novell for 15 years, and I can say that the amount of information coming from them over the past six months or so if anything is an increase over what Novell has done over the past few years under former management.

Also, not sure what you mean by "radio silence from Novell." Novell made a ton of announcements at BrainShare which only ended a month ago. I wouldn't expect to see many new product announcements so soon after BrainShare. So, is it radio silence, or just normal actions? The logical conclusion is normal actions.
