Summary: "Microsoft Peter" turns out to be a very sick man, much like people who apply for a job at Microsoft, knowing the company's dirty dealings and crimes
Microsoft likes flinging malicious stigmas at FOSS, but Microsoft itself has much to hide. Guess who has just been arrested. It's the de facto Microsoft PR/copywriter at Ars Technica (for many years). We long ago dubbed him "Microsoft Peter". This new report says that "[a] federal complaint alleges that Bright sought to molest a 7- and 9-year-old and met with an undercover agent for this purpose, at which point he was arrested. It also states that Bright claimed to be in a sexual relationship with an 11-year-old. He is currently being held without bail. According to the complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, an undercover FBI special agent made contact..."
It's not even too unfamiliar a story to us; at Bill Gates' mansion workers were
arrested for pedophilia and years later a former Microsoft employee asked me to remove links to reports about an arrest over his pedophilia, which he did not deny (then too the FBI caught him). He had worked for Microsoft up to that point.
One reader asked me: "Wasn’t that the Microsoft guy at
Ars Technica?"
It is. It's Microsoft Peter. When we criticised him for his biased 'reporting' he used to come to our IRC channel, calling himself "DrPizza"; that nickname, "pizza", itself refers to a codeword the FBI is surely aware of. The reason he came to the IRC channel was, he attempted to stop us criticising his shoddy work. Articles like
this one... (many other people criticised his 'reporting', but
Ars Technica receives a lot of money from Microsoft, so who cares, right?)
Well, Microsoft cannot entirely distance itself from it. I can think of several other pedophiles and pedophilia apologists who shower Microsoft with praise. Also recall what
we wrote earlier this year about Microsoft and pedophilia.
People now talk about this, but Microsoft doesn't get mentioned:

This one too is yours to 'own', Microsoft; you don't get to 'own' this only when he attacks your competition and writes puff pieces for you, as he has done for many years.
