Summary: There seems to be no oversight at all from the German government, which is milking the EPO without bothering to check that the rule of law even exists in the EPO
THE German government isn't the subject of much scrutiny (in the press), especially not
outside Germany. Are German politicians honest? We're asked to assumed they're mostly transparent and sincere. The "bunker politics" are 80 years in the past, right?
Well, no. What an 'apfelstrudel' of lawfare...
Part 4 dealt with the response given by the Government of Germany, in effect lying on behalf of
EPO management (
António Campinos a year after he took over from
Benoît Battistelli). Putting aside
issues with the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), consider what's discussed in the video above. They're basically relaying everyone to some words on paper (basically lies) from the unaccountable EPO, which enjoys and exploits immunity. Nobody bothers to check what's
actually happening.
