Summary: Slovenia's situation resembles a worldwide phenomenon and widespread issue; a few robber barons get to choose who runs the show, mostly for their own benefit

THIS WEEKEND, or just around midnight last night, we commenced a three-part (sub)series about Slovenia. As it turns out, Slovenian media is aware of this matter and we found that Slovenian press had already covered some of these affairs, albeit not in English.

"Slovenia's situation isn't a unique one; in just about every country there's a loud and aggressive minority besieging and manipulating national policy for the sake of self-enrichment."A couple of months ago we wrote about Slovenia in relation to UPC escapades, though it was limited to memes and poetry with more substantial response/s in Daily Links (as in-line editorial comments).

URSILAs we shall see tonight and tomorrow, there's an inner struggle in Slovenia; it's a fight between special interests and the overwhelming majority of the population. The video above is commentary about the first part (of three). Slovenia's situation isn't a unique one; in just about every country there's a loud and aggressive minority besieging and manipulating national policy for the sake of self-enrichment.
